K9 – Dual Purpose Dogs

DPS.’s K-9 Unit provides professional K-9 Security and Training Services. Our exclusive K-9 Unit, employ and train some of the best dog teams in operation, all of which have extensive experience and ability to adopt multiple roles. All our K-9 teams undergo mandatory basic compatibility training to ensure suitability for duty.

Our dual-purpose dogs imported from EU are fully-trained Police Patrol K9s dogs skilled in tracking; handler protection; off-leash obedience; article, area and building search; and criminal apprehension in addition to being bomb sniffing dogs.

Our DPS K9 teams provide a strong visible and psychological deterrent against terrorist and criminal threats. Our teams are one of the most effective countermeasure available for explosives detection. The DPS teams, each comprised of a dual-purpose dog and handler, conduct searches for a variety of explosive materials at shopping malls, hotels, schools, airports, venues, residences and more.  They are proficient in searching all types of vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses, etc.

Strategic and Preventive Tactics

• DPS K9s teams play an important role in comprehensive preventive security measures by supporting strategic explosive detection activities. They also provide immediate and specialized response to bomb threats and unattended packages or other such dangerous items. Most often, these detection activities allow our teams to detect or quickly rule out the presence of dangerous materials and allow the client to continue operating with minimal or no interruption.
